Agile Project Manager

The role has elements of a Scrum Master for our Agile development projects, but also you will be required to do elements of PM / BA activities for other projects for software/systems delivery, implementation and training.

The focus will be on a large product development project based in Chandlers Ford coordinating local delivery activities for the overall programme. The software application is written in C++ and generates up to £7M a year.

Reporting to:

*On the project, to the Delivery Manager.

*Live Management, to the Project Office Manager


  • All types of meetings and scrums / daily stand ups
  • Manage all Scrum, BA Agile elements of this project
  • Embed Agile framework into the project
  • Team's collaboration with all the stakeholders
  • Engagement with other departments in the company (Dev teams, test, documentation, account management)
  • Meet/consult regular with wider delivery team (from London and Newcastle)
  • Team's release planning
  • Maintaining sustainable pace
  • Help remove blockers/impediments
  • Team-chemistry and smooth conflicts
  • Occasionally meet with external customers to report/show local delivery progress
  • Coordinating the Dev/Test/Doc/BA activities
  • Jira activities


  • Face to face comms
  • Transparency and contribution in stand-ups/scrums
  • Fixing problems without seeking blame/retribution

  • Help the team create/update information radiators (burn-down, status boards)
