Application Support Analyst
A leading organisation operating within the logistics sector is looking for an Application Support Analyst to join their team in Southampton
The Application Support Analyst will join an existing IT Team and will be responsible for providing application support for their new Warehouse Management System (WMS)
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Application Support Analyst to broaden their skills and experience.
The Application Support Analyst will:
· Provide application support services to the Freight Forwarding division and WMS system and subsequent reporting
· Diagnose incidents and assign them to the appropriate resolving owner
· Implement change within the software and process development Framework
· Fulfil requests for new configuration in WMS
· Identify quick wins and improvements with existing solutions and standard productivity tools
· Support the ongoing Software and Process Lifecycle
· Monitor external suppliers of contracted services, alerting where the required standards are not met
· Work with customers to define proposals and functional designs for change
· Organise and deploy bugfixes WMS or integration solutions
· Identify opportunities for improvement of the stability, performance and security of our applications
The Application Support Analyst will have the below experience:
· Experience working within Application Support
· Must have experience working with JDA or similar WMS Systems
· Writing and organising technical and user documentation
· Ability to extract data for business users to help with reporting and analysis
· Working knowledge of WMS Configuration and processes
· Experience working within logistics or supply chain environments - Desirable
