Backend Software Developer - NodeJS
£60k - £70k+ benefits

We have an exciting opportunity for a Backend NodeJS Developer to join a small company at a time of growth and investment. The business develops an innovative product and have recently gained investment from a high-profile business so require an experienced candidate who can add value in their back end development and assist in improving internal development processes.
In this role you will be working as part of a small team in enhancing and scaling the company's product set, which is a combination of greenfield and existing solutions. The core technologies consist of: JavaScript and NodeJS so commercial experience is essential.
The business promotes Hybrid working and can offer 4 days working week if preferred - Ideally you will go to the office 2-days per week until you're up and running, this can then be reduced based on project workloads.
Core requirements:
- 3 years+ commercial experience in Software Development
- Commercial experience with NodeJS, ideally 2 years+
- JavaScript - ES6
- DevOps understanding, ideally will have helped implement DevOps processes
- Excellent communicator, able to interact with senior stakeholder internal and external customers, as needed
Desirables:
- Commercial experience with modern Cloud Platforms, ideally Azure
- Exposure to React
- Scripting (Bash, Perl, Python)
- Agile development methodologies
