Job description
Business Analyst required by an established software company whose customers are largely in financial services. They are looking for an additional Business Analyst for their Agile team due to continued success and expansion.
The Business Analyst will work in an Agile team alongside a Product Owner, Software Developers and Software Testers.
The company's office is located in Berkshire, but they have an entirely flexible approach to remote working. They have a number of employees around the country that work fully remote and others who live locally working a couple of days a week in the office.
The Business Analyst will work in close conjunction with the Product Owner and will be responsible for -
- Working with stakeholders (internal and external) to establish requirements and develop solutions, specifications and designs.
- Product strategy and how it can be best applied to the company's software
- Ensuring that software products remain compliant via market research and becoming a subject matter expert on the key software product
- Ensuring that development meets the requirements of technical and functional specifications
- Collaborating with members of the Agile team
- Working with Software Testers to improve test case development
-Working with the support team to ensure processes enable an efficient service
Key experience
- Proven experience in a software product focused Business Analyst role, ideally in a software house environment
- Knowledge of the software development life cycle
- Managing internal and external stakeholders
- Agile / Scrum
- Estimation and management of product backlogs
- Requirements gathering via varied avenues such as customer workshops
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but is not essential
- Jira
- Confluence
- CRM systems
- Prior experience working for a software company developing products for any form of financial services customers
