Business Development Director - Fleet - £90,000 + Commission

Business Development Director required by an excellent client who's head office is based in Fleet, Hampshire. The Business Development Director will be responsible for the achievement of revenue targets across new logo and account management across their allocated territory. The purpose of the role is to create revenue growth by expanding the use of our clients software and services with existing clients and new logo. The Business Development Director will operate as member of the revenue team. You will be assessed on the volume and value of revenue across new business and account management, your rolling pipeline and client NPS scores. Our client are ideally looking for someone who has financial or FinTech experience/knowledge.

  • Highly proficient organisation skills to manage multiple customer opportunities and meet customer expectations and deadlines
  • Clear, concise, and professional communication manner, both written and oral
  • An ability to think strategically and creatively to maximise sales success in a competitive market environment
  • Proactively contribute to your team environment i.e., share market insights, customer feedback, collaborative techniques
  • Self-motivated, ambitious, independent, organised, focused and be able to multi-task
  • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to establish interest, trust, and credibility
  • Experience with CRM platforms, with HubSpot knowledge advantageous

Responsibilities:

  • Owning key client relationships in the region, ensuring the client's proposition is fully delivered for key client stakeholders including executives, the business, operations, and IT
  • Initiating and managing the full sales cycle, coordinating pre-sales and other specialist resources as needed
  • Closing deals valued between £10,000 and £200,000 per year
  • Developing and maintaining a solid network of industry contacts
  • Supporting marketing campaigns and helping with activities such as customer forums, conferences, and events
  • Establishing, and developing relationships with primary Ecosystem partners
