Computer Vision Engineer - Image Processing

Oxford - Remote working available

£40,000 - £45,000 per annum + benefits

Our client are seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join the team based in Oxford that will be offering remote working post-pandemic. Due to the successful growth and investment in the business the company is looking to expand its Computer Vision team which plays an integral part in developing machine vision algorithms. As part of the Compute Vision team you will be working with cutting edge computer vision technologies in an established team who pride themselves working at the forefront of technology, image processing experience is an esstential criteria to the role.

The successful Computer Vision engineer will have a relevant PHD in Computer Vision or Data Science including 3D sensing/image processing. You will have experience in the following areas;

Key Experience

  • Masters Degree pr PhD in a computer vision topic
  • Computer Vision/ Data Science
  • Knowledge in a range of image processing techniques
  • Expereince applying machine vision solutions to real-world applications

Experience in the following areas would be advantageous but not esssential;

  • Matlab or Octave expereince to develop image processing algorithms
  • Expertise in 3D sensing and reconstruction from 2D images
  • Implementing algorithms through the use of C++, C# or Python libraries such as OpenCV
  • Any post-doctoral experience of research and development in computer vision relating to 2D or 3D imaging
  • Defining and developing Convolutional Neural Networks, Deep Learning
