Job description
Spectrum IT's London and Hampshire Client are seeking an experienced Contract Data Analyst to join them on an initial 6 month contract FULLY REMOTE (inside IR35).
As the Contract Data Analyst you will support part of the business for reporting, you will build out report structures on a regular basis as part of the Digital team and have a good working knowledge of Python and SQL (and R beneficial, ideally all three). You will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying BI tools and dashboards to deliver regulatory reporting and analytical solutions.
You will be working alongside internal stakeholders of all levels to understand what problems they are trying to solve and supporting them by defining solutions to meet complex problems.
Responsibilities
- Working with business stakeholders to understand the business decisions / challenge which could be solved by data
- Working with other teams to identify data sources and extraction processes
- Developing ETL processes to generate required outcome
- Continuous improvement of processes and reporting
- Engagement with 3rd parties to support agreement of external reporting requirements
- Ensure that all solutions are fit for their operational purpose and, in particular, that the specific demands and requirements of distributed & mobile environments are fully taken into account
Skills & Experience
- Extensive Contract Data Analysis experience
- Python
- SQL
- R (beneficial)
- BI Tooling & Dashboards
- Experience of ETL process, reporting, data manipulation
- Knowledge and practical experience with a range of data processing tools and BI solutions
