Role: Contract Front End Developer
Term: 3 months
Rate: Negotiable
IR35: Small Business Exemption
Location: Hybrid - 2 days a week on-site in Reading
Our client is seeking a skilled and passionate Front End UI Contractor (Vue) to join their team for an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension. As a key member of the development team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing a new greenfield tool, utilising your expertise in Vue, Typescript, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create a seamless user experience for a new cloud-based tool
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable front-end components using Vue and Typescript
- Implement UI design principles and best practices to ensure a consistent and user-friendly interface
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the tool, ensuring integration with back-end services and cloud infrastructure
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Vue and cloud technologies to continuously improve the tool's performance and functionality
Skills:
- Proven experience as a Front End UI Developer with a strong focus on Vue and Typescript
- Excellent understanding of UI design principles and best practices
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly AWS
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Exposure to ASP.NET and API back-end development is highly beneficial
