Contract IT Support Engineer

Job description

Title: Contract IT Support Engineer
Office Location: Camberley, Hampshire (Monday to Friday)
Duration: 6 months (immediate start)
IR35: Small Company Exemption

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide BAU IT support for multiple end clients
  • Triage, diagnosis, & support service desk support calls though a ticketing system
  • Provide end user 1st/2nd line support across multiple devices, including, but not limited to
    • Windows OS
    • Telephony systems - previous telecoms industry experience is desirable
    • Active Directory & Group Policy
    • Network and security understanding - firewalls, routing, VPN etc.
    • Office 365 or azure administration is desirable but not essential.
  • Software and hardware knowledge

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in a service desk BAU environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
