Job Description

Spectrum IT are recruiting for a Marketing Executive to work closely with the delivery manager on a large scale project focusing on customer communications and policy campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the project Customer Communication Delivery manager and the Marketing lead to deliver Customer Communications within the project plan
  • To deliver customer communications as required by the plan owned by the Customer Communications Delivery Manager
  • Work closely with the project team and key stakeholders (Operations, Call Centre, Pricing, Group Marketing, IT, Product) to understand business requirements for communications - regulatory, customer, commercial, brand, etc. - and create great customer communications to meet those requirements
  • Build strong relationships with the Retention Marketing team to understand existing customer journeys, communications, campaigns, initiatives, and self-serve capability and become a subject matter expert
  • Work closely with the project team to define, triggers, timing, content, and channel (Letter, Email, SMS). for each communication
  • To create or manage the creation of the template, fixed and variable content and copy to communicate effectively with the customer, driving the right customer response/understanding, also meeting regulatory and brand requirements
  • Use your marketing, insurance, and customer communications experience to challenge existing approaches and build optimum customer journeys and communications, working closely with our Brand and inhouse creative teams to improve design, tone of voice and overall performance
  • Act as one team with the in-house creative agency, the Smart Communications (template software) team and print/production teams to ensure Customer Communications briefs are of the required accuracy, quality, and detail, that the document development and production meets the brief and the project requirements
  • Complete the necessary testing of the communications to ensure accuracy and quality and that the project goes live with no comms related issues

Skills

  • Has had experience in a Customer Communications / Marketing function
  • Worked in an insurance or regulated business
  • Excellent customer communication and marketing campaign design / copy writing skills
  • Experience delivering customer communications via multiple channels (DM, EM, SMS)
  • Delivered large scale projects which are time pressured
  • Strong problems solving skills - work with teams to drive the best possible outcomes and deliver
  • Excellent stakeholder management - ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to understand requirements and make pro-active steps forward whilst managing expectations

Nice to have:

  • Experience working in regulated business
  • Experience in using Word / Excel / Microsoft Project
