SQL DBA / Database Administrator - Fully Remote - £50-65k
SQL Server, Agile, DevOps
An experienced Database Administrator is required to join a growing DevOps team using SQL databases. The company offer their software solutions across the UK, EU and US and this role would administer, manage, and optimise the company's extensive SQL databases.
The SQL DBA would join an established IT team and would focus on streamlining the company's SQL Server databases, administer both on premises and cloud-based SQL Server installations, and improve best practice. The DBA would work alongside Developers and Infrastructure team members, an experienced candidate who can hit the ground running is preferred and strong SQL skills, including T-SQL are essential.
Essential experience:
- SQL Database administration experience
- SQL Server, 2016+
- Scripting with PowerShell
- Database migrations
- Understanding of ETL processes
- Agile and DevOps understanding
- Excellent communicator, able to work in a collaborative environment
Any experience in the following would be advantageous:
- AzureDevOps
- RedGate SQL products
- Degree educated
The company's offices are based in Hampshire however the role is offered on a Fully Remote basis. The company can accommodate flexible working hours and offer a strong benefits package.
