Senior Platform Engineer, GCP / AWS / DevOps
£70,000 to £90,000 d.o.e. + large company benefits.
London or Portsmouth + hybrid remote work.

This company is a household name in UK digital consumer services with a great reputation. They have kick started a technology refresh and digital transformation programme and are modernising their IT infrastructure moving from AWS to GCP.
This means 2 newly created job opportunities for Platform / DevOps Engineers; specifically those with with deep knowledge of Google Cloud / GCP. The goal; to transform the technology ecosystems into a modern and innovative platform ready to embrace the future.
the role will include AWS to GCP migration and will include work with on prem and legacy systems - but the majority of work will be new systems focussed so dont worry about being bogged down with clunky old legacy systems.
About You…
- You are a talented and experienced Devops or Platform Engineer with significant hands on experience with GCP, Python or Bash Scripting, Terraform and CI/CD tools
- You are enthusiastic and love how Devops tools can create automation, efficiency, security and performance enabling rapid delivery of enhancements and digital solutions
- You appreciate work/life balance, friendly and compassionate working conditions and a collaborative team working culture.
- All applicants must be certified in either GCP or AWS.

What you need…
- Proven experience in cloud platforms such as GCP and/or AWS / Azure.
- Scripting skills in Python or bash
- Serverless technologies
- Terraform and associated frameworks
- CI/CD tools. Google Cloud Build, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Bitrise.
- All applicants must be certified in either GCP or AWS.
This is a hybrid role, part office and part remote. The company offices are based at Kings Cross and Portsmouth in Hampshire. Location is optional so long as you have presence in the office 3-5 days a week.
