Job description
IT Systems Administrator required by an established organisation located in Farnborough. The role will involve a mixture of remote and office based work.
The IT Systems Administrator will play a key role in supporting the delivery of a number of key business applications.
The IT Systems Administrator is likely to have a background in applications support, systems administration, or technical support.
The company has a largely virtualised server estate. Their core tools and applications are Office 365 based. They are in the process of completing a migration to SharePoint and Window 10 endpoints. They are also embarking on an ambitious transformation programme, which includes moving to cloud delivered solutions where possible.
Key experience
- Installation, administration, upgrading and supporting key applications
- Application and database concepts
- Microsoft 365 products
- General IT support role
- Systems deployment
Experience in any of the following areas would be advantageous but is not essential
- Windows Server administration
- SQL Server administration
- Database reporting - SQL and Oracle
- GIS
- Application support
