Junior NodeJS Developer - Graduate JavaScript Developer
Buckinghamshire; near Milton Keynes - Hybrid working / Work from home options
£25,000 - £40,000 DOE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Software Developer or Graduate Developer to join a thriving company and collaborative development team at a time of growth. They can offer you the resources and support to develop your skills with a specific focus on JavaScript and NodeJS. The hiring managers are looking for those with a genuine passion for leaning new tech and willingness to learn new skills as required, the technology can be taught but personality cannot!
In this role you will be working as part of a wider development team to support, maintain and enhance the company's product set, which is a combination of greenfield and existing solutions. The core technologies consist of: JavaScript, Node JS, PostgreSQL and Asterisk so experience with these is highly desirable.
What do you need to apply?
- A relevant IT/Software degree, or 1yrs+ commercial experience in Software developer role or similar
- Some experience with NodeJS - whether it be personal projects, work you have done as an apprentice or at university or commercial development experience.
- Great communication skills with a genuine interest in learning new technology
- Willing to travel to their offices near Milton Keynes 1-2 days per week (this can be reduced once you are up and running!)
Useful Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of Cloud platforms AWS / Azure
- Exposure to React
- Understanding of Agile Development methodologies
