Job Description
The Company
Front End developer required by a rapidly growing digital marketing and technology company based in Southampton. This position will involve working on various greenfield and BAU projects developing digital applications for a range of customers.
The company currently work with a range of eCommerce and online retailers helping to increase their revenue through their custom-built marketing platform and tools. The successful Front end developer will be involved in creating both web and mobile applications utilising the latest Front End JavaScript frameworks such as React.
The company encourage staff to learn about new systems/methods and attend conferences and meetups (when possible). They are keen to invest in their employees and you will receive plenty of training on open-source technology and encouraged to pursue technologies that interest you
The Role
This is a great opportunity for a Mid/Senior-level front end developer with React to join a business that offers great personal development opportunities with exposure to opensource technologies and training programs to learn new programming languages. You will be involved in redeveloping applications from the ground up in React working with a talented team of developers. The successful front end developer will have proven experience working with software applications and have experience in React front end.
As a Front end developer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing new functions and features for the company's innovative online marketing platform and websites. There will also be plenty of greenfield work and opportunity to work with new systems and work with Machine Learning algorithms. This position does have the potential to progress into a fullstack role working with Python.
