Problem Manager - £38-45k

Southampton/London area / hybrid working options

A Problem Manager is required to join an established IT business based in Hampshire. The company are going through a period of positive change and investment and require an experienced Problem Manager to improve the availability of IT services and the reduction of service incidents through the reactive and proactive application of the Problem Management process.

The Problem Manager will interact with a range of team across the business and will be a key figure in improving the quality of their IT and Software Support. The business can offer flexible home working options with the suggested ratio of 2 days a week in their Hampshire/London offices near Southampton, Farnham, Basingstoke.

Essential skills:

  • Previous experience in a similar role - Service Desk/Incident Managenent
  • 2nd and 3rd line support experience
  • Hands on experience with ITSM toolsets
  • Knowledge of Microsoft, Windows or Linux environments
  • Commercial experience with ITIL or relevant certification

Desirable

  • Previous experience with C level stakeholders
  • Root Cause Analysis methods
  • Agile, SCRUM understanding
  • Degree level education in an IT related topic
