Senior Database Developer

£55,000 - £65,000
Our client who are a locally based global leader in digital banking technology is looking for a Senior Database Developer to join their talented and fast-growing team.
With nearly 40 years' worth of experience in their field, they pride themselves in being the preferred technology partner of a number of popular insurance brokers in both the UK and European markets.
With over 400 employees across multiple sites and owning 40% of the market share in what they do, they have established themselves as a true powerhouse in the software market.
As the Senior Database Developer you will primarily be responsible for backend development of databases, data models and data centric services focused on MS SQL Server.
Skills Required:
- Expert MS SQL Server knowledge including T-SQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers and views
- In-depth knowledge of database design principles including query optimization, indexes, statistics and isolation levels
- Knowledge of automated database deployment tools, such as Liquibase
- Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience of CI/CD pipelines and agile database deployments
- Experience of Git version control
- Knowledge of backend development in .NET is an advantage
Desirable
- Experience of working with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum
- C# / .NET Core / .NET 6
- Liquibase
- Azure DevOps
