Senior QA Engineer - Fully remote
Senior QA Engineer required by a rapidly growing remote based software company. The company provide a site with over 30 million annual visits and have recently won multiple awards. Due to planned growth, they are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to champion and implement leading QA and testing practices.
As a Senior QA Engineer, you will work in a standalone role alongside the Development team. This will be the first sole QA focused person within the company. The position will come with a lot of autonomy to introduce technologies and own the QA function.
Essential experience:
- Python or JavaScript knowledge
- Test automation
- CI pipelines
- SQL/Relational databases
- API's
- BDD, TDD
- Testing website across multiple browsers and devices
Any experience in the following is not essential but would be advantageous:
- Working in a start-up/scale-up
- Cloud environments, ideally Google Cloud Platform
- Agile
- NoSQL
- ISEB/ISTQB
