Service Desk Engineer

Job description

A Service Desk Engineer is required for a well-established MSP based on the outskirts of Basingstoke.

This role will see you play a pivotal part within a busy team where you'll be supporting external customers on a 2nd and 3rd line basis for a rapidly growing organisation.

This role is paying up to £38,000 DOE plus benefits.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to resolve technical issues
  • Troubleshooting issues via phone, email, or onsite visits
  • Work within a small team to deliver a support function for external customers
  • Escalate incidents where necessary to the relevant support teams

Required skills:

  • Microsoft windows server
  • VMware
  • Experience working within a Hyper-V environment
  • Office 365
  • Any experience of Azure would be a distinct advantage
