Site Reliability Engineer - Up to £50,000 - Fully Remote
We are looking for a new Site Reliability Engineer to join our client on a fully remote basis to ensure the performance, reliability, and robustness of their high traffic e-commerce web and mobile applications.
This position is vacant for any infrastructure support engineer or junior SRE that is looking to take the next step and undertake more responsibility within server reliability!
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows based servers (virtual and web)
- Create and administer staging and production databases
- Maintain the source code control environment
- Deploy websites to production
- Perform load testing for high volume deployment, DNS and, domain registrar administration
- Mentor team members in areas of web and database server admin
Knowledge/Skills:
- Minimum 4-5 years IT support and planning experience
- Excellent knowledge of Linux based servers
- Scripting knowledge in any language/framework
- Expert knowledge of server installation
- Experience with Quality Assurance
- Good understanding of network architecture and problem solving
This role offers a salary of up to £50,000 including a range of benefits including remote working.
