Software Build and Deployment Engineer
- C, Shell Programming, Build, Deploy and Release
- Hybrid working with offices in Poole, Dorset
- Salary circa £40,000 plus benefits
An exciting new opportunity for a Software Build and Deployment Engineer to join a very fast-growing UK and US based software management services provider based in Poole, Dorset.
This innovative technology company have ambitious growth plans and they have become a leading provider of software management products and services to a broad client base. They are currently going through a period of rapid expansion within the UK.
Working closely with the software architect and development team the Build and Deployment Engineer will help build, support, test and deploy my clients products, update features in both an on-premise and a hosted environment (Azure). Automated tests are to be then created and managed for those deployments.
To be successful in this role you will have a skill set that includes:
- C and shell programming
- Linux Systems Support
- Experience in Perl / Python would be an advantage
- Xen Hypervisor
- BASH
- MySQL
- Git
- Application and Software support
