Software Developer in Test - SDET - C#, JavaScript, CI/CD, Jenkins
Southampton, Hampshire - Flexible hybrid working
A great opportunity to join an award winning software company developing digital payment solutions for a global audience. The role of Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is to work closely with the testing and development functions in delivery of an effective test automation solution.
This customer driven business have an exciting pipeline of new customer projects and development efficiency and test performance is paramount. The successful candidate will play a key part in the delivery of that test automation solution.
Developer in Test - Responsibilities:
· Develop infrastructure tools such as 'simulators' and 'stubs' to support the automated testing and maximise coverage.
· Help implement and maintain CI capability.
· Facilitate communication between technical and business stakeholders.
· Align to the overarching risk-based approach, maximizing test coverage for the most critical solution features.
· Peer review activities.
· Understand and develop complex test data sets.
· Help build, maintain, and continuously improve our automation framework and associated policies.
· Communicate and log all Risks, Issues and Dependencies, particularly those relating to automated testing.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required
- A BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Strong programming abilities with expertise in C#, Java & JavaScript.·
- Experience of WinAppDriver, Microsoft UI Automation, or similar native MS Windows automation frameworks
- Experience using continuous Integration tools (Jenkins & TeamCity).
- Experience of working in agile teams and an excellent understanding of JIRA.
- Knowledge of Specflow/Cucumber & experience of implementing automation frameworks.
