Within their IT Infrastructure Support team there is a newly created role for a talented Systems Administrator / 3rd Line Engineer to support a large and dynamic internal team of close to 1000 users.

What do they need from you?
Key skills:
- Experience of both Windows (80%) and Linux (20%) Server Knowledge
- Knowledge and understanding of Infrastructure Technologies (Virtualisation, Backup, Storage, Active Directory, Monitoring, Certification Authorities etc)
- Comprehensive knowledge of networking, TCP/IP, WAN, LAN etc
- Experience supporting message queuing systems
- Application and Server infrastructure administration - primarily Windows
- Hypervisors and virtualization technologies
- Cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, AWS or OCI
On top of the core technical skills, you will also need to be a strong communicator who is able to work on their own initiative in a fast-changing environment. You will need to be organised and able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
