Technical Support Engineer - Southampton - £30,000 - £35,000

Experienced Technical Support Engineer required for an excellent client who are based in Southampton but are happy for their staff to work remotely. As technical support engineer, you will be the first point of contact for customers and the role will include liaising and coordinating the resolution of technical issues with our device or platform, capturing feature requests from customers for product improvement, providing advice and training on the device and platform directly to customers. You will liaise with the development teams to resolve requests on time. This position is within a small team so the successful candidate will be confident when working on their own a lot of the time.

Skills required:

  • Customer focused approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Knowledge of modern web-based business applications
  • Good project management skills and experienced in the use of project management tools
  • Good communicator and experienced in working with customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions
  • SQL Server
