Test Automation Engineer
Southampton
£40,000 - £47,500
*** Hybrid Working - minimum of 3 days in office and then 2 days from home ***
We require a Test Automation Engineer to work closely with fellow testers and developers in delivery of an effective test automation solution.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* Knowledge of Specflow/Cucumber and experience of maintaining automation frameworks
* Experience using continuous Integration tools (Jenkins & TeamCity)
* Experience of working in agile teams and an excellent understanding of JIRA
* Functional understanding of QTest / XRAY - Preferably to the API level
* Interact and communicate effectively with technical & non-technical stakeholders at all levels
* Facilitate communication between the technical & business Stakeholders
Additional skills preferred
* BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
* Experience of test-driven development (TDD) & behaviour-driven development (BDD)
* Ready-made automation frameworks such as Serenity BDD, Cypress etc.
* Cross-platform mobile automated testing tools such as Appium or TestComplete
* Experience of WinAppDriver
* Java / Java Script, Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP
* Documenting APIs - Swagger / Postman
* Experience of Apache JMeter
