PHP / Drupal Developer

Winchester, Hampshire

Remote working full time.

£38,000 - £40,000 plus benefits and training.

Our client is an award-winning digital development agency, delivering real digital transformation for charities. They work on a large number of fundraising projects, primarily building new Drupal websites with engineered solutions for some of the UK's leading non-profit organisations.

They are looking for a talented Web Developer to join their awesome team and build hi-tech & innovative websites and web services for their portfolio of clients. You will be developing and supporting a range of web applications, systems and services for UK and global charity organisations. You will also be working with our clients hosting partner to support clients website maintenance.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with all members of the team including a senior development team. You will be comfortable in the full lifecycle of customer and client engagement, design, development and release.

You will be digitally connecting directly with a range of clients to support their Head of Digital so you will be able to manage external relationships and have strong communication skills.

To support the digital team you will be assisting with scoping new work. You will be able to gather requirements providing technical solutions, recommendations with the ability to write technical specifications if required.

Our client's development team are fully remote but there will be the expectation of you potentially attending a team event in Winchester 3-4 times a year.

Our client needs someone motivated and positive, with the initiative to find things to do and solve problems without being told to.

Skills Required:

  • Drupal 7, 8 (9 is a bonus) development. Must have experience in developing Drupal Modules and Themes, including knowledge of Hooks, render arrays and Twig templates.

  • PHP

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Customer account management

  • Excellent interpersonal skill

  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to think clearly and logical

  • Manage your own workload, take personal responsibility for delivering on time and be accountable for your decisions.

  • eCommerce

Desirable Skills:

  • MySQL
