We have an awesome opportunity for x2 .Net Software Developers to join a successful FinTech software company at the beginning of a very exciting journey.

What do you need to secure a role here?
Before we get in to the technology there is a big emphasis on you as a person and your commitment and desire to achieve and develop. Are you ambitious and enthusiastic about technology? Do you spend your spare time researching technology and contributing to online tech forums i.e. Stack overflow or GitHub? It is this kind of investment of time and energy that we and the company is looking for. This supersedes any technical expertise as the company would be just as happy to invest in potential and aptitude.
You will need to have a structured background in Software Development with particular desire to write clean, reusable and scalable code. You will be familiar with design patterns, OOP, Agile, modern development practices and a with a commitment to continuous improvement. Your mindset will be forward thinking, quality driven and with a teamwork mentality.
The Technical Part…
You will have studied software development at college or university or alternatively invested a significant amount of your own time in learning the fundamentals of .Net and C# programming.
You will have worked in a commercial software company or similar software team developing first rate software and services.
- C#, ASP.Net - a minimum of 2+ years commercial experience. Core C# experience is essential, you will be tested on it!
- Knowledge of MVC or Web Forms or .Net Web API
- A sound understanding of SQL Server and relational databases
- Knowledge of Unit Testing is beneficial
- Conceptual, academic or commercial awareness of Object Oriented design and design patterns, data structures, algorithms
Training & Personal Development…
The company will happily invest in you and the development team if you show the commitment and desire to learn. They are currently sending developers on external training to learn TDD, Azure, Devops and cloud technology.
