Software Engineer / Web Apps Developer / Full Stack (C#, .Net, MVC, JavaScript)

We have an exciting new opportuinty for skilled Software Developers to apply their craft at one of the UK's leading technology companies. Based in Basingstoke, Hampshire, our client is a specialist in the field of biometirc security, working with high end clients to build robust identity & authentication services used within banking/trading, travel, central government and other security conscious commercial sectors.
The software uses modern technologies, consisting of mainly angular front-ends using a combination of TypeScript and JavaScript, with backend C# Web API RESTful services. They adopt BDD and TDD and test automation is an integral part of how they work.
This is a collaborative working culture, sharing knowledge across department, using wikis and team chat rooms to build knowledge. They drive change, innovation and love keeping up with the latest technologies and approaches to better themselves and the wider team
Skills & Experience:
- Solid commercial experience developing full-stack web applications using .NET framework
- Good technical skills with knowledge of solution design and application architecture
- Experience building Web Services using Web API
- Experience building Web applications using a modern framework such as Angular / React MVC
Beneficial Skills
- Commercial experience with Java or C++
- Commercial experience of developing software within a Continuous Deployment environment, with experience of using CI/CD tooling (eg Octopus or equivalent)
- Familiarity and usage of git source control within a team
- Solid database skills with a sound understanding of, and experience using Transact SQL and document-style/NoSQL storage
