2nd Line Support Engineer is required to join an established and growing company in Hampshire. This company boasts an excellent benefits package; including vast discounts across tech products and gadgets, discounted gym membership and various rewards programmes.
This role sits within the IT support team, supporting both internal and external clients across a broad range of IT functions. You will be tasked with managing inbound and outbound calls and emails, diagnosing faults and working towards resolution.
The current IT team are a close-knit bunch and are looking for somebody with not only outstanding technical skills, but who is also a real team player. The ideal 2nd line support engineer will come from an MSP or similar outsourced background as this role is working across a broad range of tech, within a fast-paced environment.
- Windows Server
- Active Directory
- Telephony support - Mitel
- Strong ticket logging and record keeping skills are essential.
- Customer facing experience - you may have to attend customers sites (where required) to resolve tickets
- Network support - Routers, Firewalls
As you will be working with customers, mostly remotely - but sometimes on site, strong communication skills are essential for this role.
Please note, this role has standard working hours between 8.30am - 5.30pm.
