2ND Line Support Engineer

Near Rochford; Southend-on-Sea

£20,000 - £25,000

2nd Line Support Engineer is required to join an established and growing company based out of their office near Rochford.

The role of 2nd Line Support Engineer will involve working as part of a team providing technical support to customers. You will be tasked with managing inbound and outbound calls and emails, diagnosing faults and working towards resolution.

Key skills:

  • Network support - Routers, Firewalls
  • Telephony support experience is ideal - covering fixed line queries, leased lines & data connectivity solutions
  • Strong ticket logging and record keeping skills are essential.
  • Customer facing experience - you may have to attend customers sites (where required) to resolve tickets

As you will be working with customers, mostly remotely - but sometimes on site, strong communication skills are essential for this role.

Please note, this role has standard working hours ranging between 8am - 6pm. There is no weekend work involved, however there is an on-call rota.
