2nd Line Support Engineer - Hythe
Up to £25k + OOH.
2nd Line Support Engineer is required to join a leading IT outsourcing company from their office based in Hythe.
The role of a 2nd Line Support Engineer consists of providing 1st / 2nd Line support to my clients varied customer base whilst taking full ownership of issues until a resolution has been reached. My client operates within a mainly Microsoft environment; therefore experience with Windows Server 2012 onwards and Windows Desktop up to 2010 is essential. The role will also require some knowledge of Linux paired with an understanding of Networking.
The correct individual will have at least six months experience working within an IT support environment. If possible you will also hold an industry recognised certification such as a CompTIA A+ / N+, or an MCP.
My client is looking for someone with experience of:
- Windows Desktop - 7, 8 & 10
- Telephone and remote IT Support
- Active Directory
- Exchange / Office 365
- Networking (LAN / WAN / Firewalls / Routing).
- Microsoft Server - 2012 / 2016
- VMware / Hyper-V (Desirable)
As you will be working within a team environment and also speaking to my clients' customers on a daily basis, then your communication skills must be very strong.
