3rd Line Support Engineer - Bournemouth - £30k

3rd Line Support Engineer is required to join a thriving MSP based in Bournemouth.

The role of a 3rd Line Support Engineer will be to provide in-depth Infrastructure support to their growing client base. You will be involved in all Server level issues along with any issues which are escalated from their 2nd line team. You will be working within a Windows environment (Server 2012 / 2016, Office 365 / Exchange 2013 and Active Directory) but also with other technologies such as Hyper-V / VMware. Please note that strong Office 365 skills are essential for this role. This position entails both remote and on-site working.

The correct candidate for the 3rd Line Support Engineer role would preferably come from an MSP background and will have 2years+ experience working in a 3rd Line support role.

My client is looking for someone with the following experience:

  • Microsoft Server systems up to 2012R2, if possible 2016
  • Hyper-V / VMware
  • O365 / Exchange 2010 / 2013
  • Active Directory

Further experience within some or all of the following would also be highly beneficial:

  • Azure4
  • Firewalls (Sonicwalls)
  • Veeam

As you will be working as part of a team and will be in regular contact with my clients growing customer base then your communications, both written and verbal must be very strong.
