An 3rd Line Support Engineer is required to join a growing and highly progressive IT outsourcing company from their head office based in the Fareham area.

The role of an 3rd Line Support Engineer will be to give 3rd Line IT Support to my clients' growing customer base. You will be expected to give in-depth IT Support covering the core IT Infrastructure of a customer's IT structure. This will include Microsoft Server 2012 / 2016, Exchange 2013 / 2016 . Office 365, Active Directory, Virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware), Citrix and Networking amongst other. The role will involve being client facing, getting heavily involved in project work so a company car will be provided.

For the IT Infrastructure Engineer my client would be looking for someone who is or has previously worked within an IT outsourcing environment or have worked within a highly technical and fast moving internal, multi-site environment.

You will have a strong level of experience within the majority of the following areas:

  • Windows Server 2012 / 2016
  • Networking
  • Active Directory
  • Exchange 2013 / 2016 / Office365
  • Virtualisation (Hyper-V / VMware / Virtual Box)
  • Citrix (XenApp / XenDesktop)
  • Imaging Systems
  • Backup Technologies
  • SQL or equivalent
  • Desktop support covering Windows 7, 8 & 10
  • Windows Office / Office 365
  • Application Support
  • ITIL Framework

Your communications skills, both written and verbal, must also be exemplary.

You will be working in a fast paced environment so your organisational skills must also be strong along with the ability to prioritise your work load where required.
