Application Support Engineer (Windows, SQL)
The Application Support will provide expert technical support to the deployment and ongoing maintenance of new and existing technical solutions. Working closely with both local and centralised Support teams, this role will be pivotal in the timely delivery of technical integration and analytical support to the customer and end users. Ensuring project timescales and SLA/OLA always meet contractual compliance.
Qualifications and Experience
· Experience of Windows Server 2016
· SQL querying
· Web Servers such as IIS and Apache
· Analytical and Investigative skills
· Troubleshooting software issues
· XML messaging systems
· Linux Debian 9
· Knowledge of SSL Certificates
· Network Infrastructure
· Experience of working in an ITIL framework
You will have proven analytical and investigative skills for troubleshooting software along with a high attention to detail. You will have experience identifying underlying issues and trends and have the ability to analyse a given problem, diagnose it, fix it and find its root cause. You will have experience of supporting high availability environments preferably in a B2B environment. Provide expert application support for bespoke solutions adhering to SLAs.
