Application Support Engineer

We have an opportunity for an ethusiastic and academically successful individual to join an international procurement consultancy based in their new spacious offices in Fareham, Hampshire. As procurement experts, they support blue-chip multinationals and SME clients globally to deliver an increase in value in the procurement function.
As a business that has enjoyed continued and significant growth, they are looking for a bright, creative and determined individual to work within the digital function who build world-class cloud applications for a portfolio of cross-industry clients, ensuring the delivery of timely, consistent and high-quality applications within required SLAs. You will identify, research and collaborate with other teams to help resolve technical issues and communicate with customers and users to report on the status and resolution of issues. You will have exemplary communication skills that instils confidence in customers and colleagues and work proactively with these stakeholders to identify trends and issues.
To be suitable for this role, you must have the following:
- Educated to degree level, ideally within a computing or software discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of SQL
- Have a service-oriented approach to work
- Customer service experience
- Proven ability to learn quickly and absorb information
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Desire for career progression
