Job description
Application Support Engineer required by a successful high-tech company located in Basingstoke. Due to the continued growth of the company is need of an experienced engineer to help improve and maintain a Windows Server environment.
This role offers the chance to work the latest support tools and technologies as well as the opportunity to work with a modern and forward-thinking company.
Responsibilities
- Providing 2nd line product support and escalating issues where necessary
- Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions
- Manage Support documentation
Key skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL
- Strong understanding of Microsoft and Windows server technologies
- 2+ years' experience in an IT support role
- Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills
Desirable skills
- ITIL Certification
- Experience working within a service desk environment
- Full, clean driving license
