Application Support Engineer

Job description

Application Support Engineer required by a successful high-tech company located in Basingstoke. Due to the continued growth of the company is need of an experienced engineer to help support multiple applications and software.

This role offers the chance to work the latest support tools and technologies as well as the opportunity to work with a modern and forward-thinking company.

Responsibilities

- Providing 2nd line product support and escalating issues where necessary

- Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing solutions

- Manage Support documentation

Key skills


- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL

- Strong understanding of Microsoft and Windows server technologies

- 2+ years' experience in an IT support role

- Excellent telephone and interpersonal communication skills

Desirable skills

- ITIL Certification

- Experience working within a service desk environment

- Full, clean driving license
