Application Support Engineer - £40k - £50k - Guildford, Surrey

Application Support Engineer required to join a growing FinTech company based in Guildford, Surrey. Due to planned growth the company are looking to add another Application Support Engineer to their existing technical support team.

The successful Application Support Engineer will be a Senior person within the team and will manage questions and issues raised by users of the companies financial software products.

Examples of responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of incidents and requests, working directly with customers to investigate and resolve technical issues
  • Ensuring service targets and SLAs are met
  • Gain a thorough understanding of the companies application, how it is deployed and how customers use their software and services
  • Monitor application and infrastructure services through tools provided
  • Participate and lead on Service Review calls with Clients

Essential experience:

  • Experience working within a similar Application support position dealing with external clients/customers
  • Solid understanding of web technologies, ideally with .NET and/or SQL Server experience
  • Azure
