Our Poole based client are seeking an Application Support Engineer to join their current team of 4. Working for an expanding, and well-known organisation, this role is ideal for an Application Support / Software Support Analyst looking to work on bespoke products ( .Net / SQL ) and to prove your technical abilities by resolving any customer issues / requests. You will also be responsible for the onboarding and training of new customers. Customer interaction is key in this role and you will be able to put yourself in the customers shoes and advocate for them when necessary. You will be technical in nature but also able to talk in a 'non-technical' language.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, a 'people person' and will be keen to learn new skills.
· Supporting Bespoke Software Applications (In house)
· Strong Customer Service Experience
· Scheduling dates and times for remote training and onsite visits & training Assist with Project Management & New Implementations from testing to go-live
· Experience of training 'non-technical' users (groups, workshops, webinar)
· Remote troubleshooting
· Basic Finance knowledge
· Creating documentation
The correct candidate for the Junior Application Support Engineer position may have just completed an apprenticeship within IT or may already be working within a 1st Line support or Junior application support role.
