Build and Deployment Engineer (Telecoms)
Camberley, Surrey
£45,000 + benefits, progression and exposure to dynamic global projects
Build and Deployment Engineer required for a niche successful telecoms software house based in Camberley. With an excellent community of talented and collaborative engineers who are passionate about what they do and deliver on the company vision; this is a great place to work.

What will you be doing?
As a Build & Deployment Engineer, you will take responsibility for the software delivery pipeline taking their software projects to their international client base. A key focus of your position is to support, maintain and enhance internal build & deployment tooling, ensuring build infrastructure is functioning effectively and efficiently. We are continuously striving to automate build environment tasks, therefore you'll be proactive in improving existing process and environment.
What are we looking for?
- Background in a high level programming language ideally C or C++
- Experience creating Makefiles
- GCC
- Automated Testing
- Jenkins
- BuildBot
- Google Test
- Experience of continuous integration, continuous deployment and automated integration testing
- A great communicator, with a genuine team focus is a must
- A passion for technology and ideally some experience in the telecoms industry (desirable)
You will be expected to make, run and automate overnight testing so should have experience of this before (this experience does not need to have come from the telecoms domain)
