Business Analyst - Poole - £40K - £50K
Experienced Business Analyst/Product Owner require for an excellent client who are based in Poole, Dorset. The successful candidate will liaise with customers, software and hardware development and system test teams in order to understand requirements and detail user stories in the development backlog. You will be working with UX teams, on-site and offshore software development teams, in an Agile Environment and will be responsible for defining user stories aligned to a delivery roadmap. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is looking to make a real impact in your next challenging role. Skills required:
- A highly proactive and technical individual willing to act on their own initiative
- Strong time management and used to working to deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to describe and communicate complex functional requirements to a wide range of stakeholders from high level managers through to software engineers
- A strong background in both requirements capture and delivery
- Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science or other engineering or scientific field would be beneficial
Responsibilities:
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand and investigate requirements
- Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and work with a product owner to create user stories
- Work with UX and software engineering teams
- Produce written documentation to support your work, report on your findings and to present to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain requirements
- Communicate with internal colleagues to understand the needs of stakeholders and the organisation as a whole
