Business Analyst - Web Development Projects
Southampton - near Eastleigh, Chandlers Ford, Romsey
£30,000 - £40,000 + Bonus + Benefits
We have an opportunity for a Business Analyst to join a leading consumer products company who are based in the coastal city of Southampton. With a clear company vision and an excellent company culture, they have an unprecedented product launch schedule that allows them to deliver real benefit to consumers across the globe.
As a Business Analyst, you will work with the web development team to provide the business with an online presence to facilitate the selling and distribution of high-end consumer products through B2C e-commerce websites. The role of Business Analyst is to support the development and project teams to scope and document end user requirements, turning functional specifications to technical ones and managing the lifecycle to effective delivery.
To be suitable for this role, you will have the following skills/experience:
- 2+ years experience working as a Business Analyst on Web or Software Development Projects
- Knowledge of UML, Visio or similar
- Expert communicator at all business levels from end users to management
- Strong documentation skills
- Good presentation skills
- Knowledge of ecommerce, retail, consumer goods or similar customer sales channels is beneficial
- Knowledge of web technology is beneficial; HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Responsive Design
