C# / Delphi Software Developer
Southampton, Hampshire
£45k - £50k
C# / Delphi Software Developer required to join my client, a leading software house in Southampton, Hampshire. You will design, develop and test desktop software applications and interfacing solutions working with a highly skilled team. The successful candidate will be keen to help us proactively update the technology stack moving from Delphi to C#. You should have the following skills:
Experience
- Delphi 7
- C#
- Experience using C# with SOLID principles
- Knowledge of Windows desktop operating systems
- Knowledge of BDE, Paradox and interfacing Delphi with COM objects
- Knowledge of the Borland VCL and RTL (Application rights and installation of Delphi 7 on Windows 10)
- SQL and DBMS beneficial
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Deliver high quality functional software within agreed timescales.
- Collaborate with a team to prepare designs, estimates and functional specifications
- Participate in Agile based meetings to ensure iterations are well defined, planned and delivered.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and develop changes
You should have strong communication skills a good strategic vision and a logical approach to problem solving along with clear and concise documentation skills.
