Job description
Cloud DevOps Engineer required by an established and expanding software company located in Southampton. Due to continued success and growth the company are looking for a Cloud Devops engineer to help establish and develop the cloud devops environment within the company. You'll be working to engineer new complex cloud services, that use public cloud infrastructure and implementing these services into new and existing products.
The successful DevOps Engineer is likely to have extensive experience in a software environment engineering and experience delivering cloud solutions to a range of different businesses. The Southampton office is the development arm of the business and as such the successful cloud devops engineer will be working on new releases and the latest technologies in an R&D environment.
Experience in the following areas would be essential;
- Experience with Azure &/or AWS architecture
- Practiced in implementing & delivering cloud solutions at scale
- Familiar with Agile work practices
Any knowledge of the following would be beneficial but not essential;
- Knowledge of development pipeline technologies such as Jenkins or similar
- Experience automating infrastructure deployment
- AWS/Azure certifications
