Computer Vision Engineer
I am working with a fast-growing Cambridge start-up building cost-effective 3D sensing technologies for advanced driving applications. We want to bring affordable safety technologies to the market that benefit the greater mass!
Main responsibilities:
- Research and tackle challenging computer vision problems across various application scenarios
- Design and implement practical solutions using both simulated and real-world datasets
- Collaborate with other research talents as well as top-tier engineers under Agile methodologies
- Have great communication skills and are happy to help the rest of the team when needs come up
You will need to have:
- A relevant degree (Masters / PhD) in computer vision related areas
- Industrial/Project experience in automotive, robotics, or sensor fusion, etc.
- Good sense of writing high quality code, code-reviewing, continuous integration methodologies and version control systems such as git
- Proficiency in C++, Python programming
- Experience in Linux based systems
We would be desireable:
- Strong background in mono/stereo vision-based 3D sensing, segmentation, multi-object tracking, or 2D/3D object detection, etc
- Experience with resource constrained development for embedded systems
- Experience with hardware specific parallelisation
