Title: Contract Application Support Analyst (SQL)
Location: Basingstoke
Duration: 6 months
Rate: Dependent on experience
Role:
An experienced Application Support Analyst is required to join a project focusing on the re-engineering of the organisations service, based on SQL Server databases and migration of legacy customer accounts on the upgraded service.
The Application Support Analyst will be able to cover the following areas:
- Integration testing of services
- Supporting business testers during business acceptance testing
- Data and account migration support
- Configuration and set-up of databases and services
- Maintenance of applications
- 2nd line support to users
- System testing and regression testing
Skills & Experience Required:
The Applications Support Analyst will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Database:
- SQL Server (2014 and above)
- Testing:
- Load testing tools
- Structured testing methodologies
- Testing windows and database services
- Integration testing of end to end services
- Other:
- Windows Server (ideally 2012 R2 Data Centre Server)
