Role: Contract Infrastructure Engineer/ Architect
Length: 3-6 Months
Rate: Negotiable
Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire

Experience
- Experience in IT infrastructure, LAN/WAN connectivity, IP, VoIP/SIP, Firewalls,
- Experience of trend and pattern analysis and technologies
- Experience of IDS/IPS and SIEM solutions
- Understanding of Industry best practice
- Understanding of risk management and controls to mitigate
- Significant experience of practices and methodologies
- Delivered solutions to allow business continuity
- Ownership of IT backup/recovery and continuity
- Co-ordination of IT business continuity exercises
- Experience in the use of monitoring equipment
- Experience in providing advice and guidance to the business
- Experience in working with staff at all levels
- Exposure to implementation to Data classification specifically GPMS
- Working in an ISO27001 environment is preferred
- Creation and maintenance of information asset database
- Use of log management software and interrogation to provide proactive reporting
- Use of monitoring tools such as Wireshark for investigations
- Use of Nessus, MBSA and vulnerability scanners
- Knowledge PRTG Network monitor
- Knowledge Wireshark
- Knowledge CCNP
- Writing business cases and presentation of recommendations at appropriate level
- Experience in working with Councillors

Qualifications
- Educated to degree level in an IT discipline (or relevant demonstrable experience)
- Relevant recognised industry qualifications from, e.g. CCNP.
