Job title: Contract Java Developer

Rate: Dependent on experience
Role:
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a small team on a very exciting new company project. The successful candidate will have a key role in developing and supporting a new application and future elements of various systems.
Essential Skills:
- Strong Java/JEE v5-6 experience
- Proven experience in developing n-tier enterprise systems
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Proven problem solving and team working skills
- Ability to work under pressure with a flexible approach to managing deadlines
- Willingness to support other team members through mentoring, coaching, peer-reviews
Desirable Skills:
- A selection of:
- Web services, JMS, Oracle SQL, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, XQuery/XSLT, JSP, JavaScript, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus, Web UI Frameworks e.g. GWT, JSF
- Experience of integration with 3rd party frameworks
