ROLE OVERVIEW
Looking for an enthusiastic individual to join a small team. The successful candidate will have a key role in developing and supporting the current inventory application and future elements of our various systems. Working with analysts, customers and support teams is an essential aspect of this position. The systems are built around the following technologies: Java, Spring, web services
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Strong Java/JEE v5-6 experience
- Proven experience in developing n-tier enterprise systems
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Experience with integration
- Proven problem solving and team working skills
- Ability to work under pressure with a flexible approach to managing deadlines
- Willingness to support other team members through mentoring, coaching, peer-reviews
DESIRABLE SKILLS:
- A selection of:
- Web services, JMS, Oracle SQL, Spring, Hibernate, JUnit, XQuery/XSLT, JSP, JavaScript, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Service Bus, Web UI Frameworks e.g. GWT, JSF
- Experience of integration with 3rd party frameworks
