Title: 1st Line Application Support Analyst

Location: Fareham & Remote Working

Duration: Temp to Perm (initially a 3 month contract)

Rate: £10-12 per hour (then £22,000 - £25,000)

Role:

An excellent opportunity for candidates looking to continue a career in customer support and client engagement, our client is currently looking for a 1st Line Application Support Analyst to help support their users and customers with resolving issues, triaging feature requests and general problem-solving.

Responsibilities: (including, but not limited to)

  • Providing exceptional level of 1st line support to users and customers
  • Actively monitor, manage and maintain customer support help desk
  • Action inbound requests so that feedback and issues are resolved in a timely manner
  • Work individually and as part of a team to maintain an optimal level of service and improve user and customer satisfaction
  • Confidently escalate to appropriate teams/team members when necessary
  • Prioritise and carry out tasks to completion
  • Learn how to use the organisations software to understand functionality and business use cases (become an "expert" user)
  • Document and maintain product and application knowledge

Skills & Experience:

Required:

  • Software support experience (very beneficial)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good observation and problem-solving skills
  • A can-do attitude and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • A passion for customer service and success

Desirable:

  • Basic knowledge of the following:
    • Tableau
    • SQL
    • Jira
    • Microsoft 365 (e.g. SharePoint)
